WHY HAVE A BHCR CNC POINT GRINDER?

The BHCR universal center grinding machine with program-controlled rotation of the grinding headstock is designed for external or internal grinding of workpieces clamped between the centers or in the chuck. The feed of the grinding headstock and the table travel are realized by servomotors and ball screws. The BHCR grinding machine is a very stable and precise machine that can be used in series production as well as in piece production for workpieces with a total weight of up to 5,000 kg.

The machine grinds in working accuracy IT 4 and can be equipped with modern design elements, including a high-precision ring motor for the automatic B axis with rolling bearing of the grinding headstock or Teflon guide surfaces for minimal adhesion (stick-slip effect). The machine can also be equipped with an in-process gauge, axial probe, automatic (electric) steady rests, rotary dresser, electric spindles, a ruler on the Z axis, etc.

The machine can be equipped with a SINUMERIK 840D sl, SINUMERIK ONE or FANUC control system.

Automatic rotation of the grinding headstock equipped with up to three tools significantly expands the technological capabilities of the grinder. In particular, there is an increased ability to grind workpieces with multiple tools per clamping.

In a special version, the machine is equipped with a C axis for precise positioning and grinding of non-circular shapes, a stiffer headstock for clamping on the fly or a polishing device to achieve high surface quality. Thanks to these above-standard options, the machine represents the most universal and effective solution on the grinding machine market.
